Let's keep it fun and really simple during the heat of the summer!
PLAYDAY on JULY 25TH ~ CRTA DENVERTON PROPERTY POND T1
....Start time 9 until 2ish? 3 ish? (DEPENDING ON WEATHER AND BUGS!)
SUPER SINGLES TIMED EVENTS !
Classes will be:
Puppy/Beginner dogs or dogs aspiring towards junior. They will have to pick up a bird in decoys and return with it (not necessarily deliver to hand)
Intermediate - All dogs running Senior or above. They will be required to pick up a bird in decoys after running a simple blind and deliver to hand.
Open - They will have to pick up a bird in decoys and bring it to hand after running one or more blinds.
Cost to enter will be $10 per dog. Monies this month will go to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each group (fastest times). Dogs will be timed. All dogs will run at least twice, (once on land and once on water) and times will be averaged, (Unless weather - bugs dictate otherwise!) Please indicate what level your dog should run - (or he'll be in open!)
POTLUCK LUNCH! LETS ALL BRING SOMETHING TO SHARE FOR LUNCH MAYBE SOMETHING EASY FOR AT LEAST 5 FOLKS. Every time we do this we have tons of great food to share! Quick club meeting during the lunch break!
If everyone could bring one defrosted bird (marked so you get it back!) that would really help!
This would also be the event that folks can bring excess equipment and offer it up for sale at a hugely discounted price! Please put your name and $ amount on anything you want to sell.
