This year we have lost several hunt tests in our area. The Monterey Bay Hunt test will not be held, and Hills ferry hasn't been held for several years.  Many of us need these tests to qualify, or to try and qualify for a National. To help offset the loss, MRC Board has decided to try a mid-week Master only test, locally at the CRTA property, to give folks another opportunity to qet a qualifying score.

TRAINING DAY!

Saturday November 26th, 2022. Yes, the Saturday after the Holiday, weather permitting! Probably the last training day in 2022... We'll setup a Master test, and you can come to the line and run singles; double and singles or a triple. If there's time we'll do a marking drill that's always a good exercise. During the lunch break we'll have a short membership meeting and talk about the upcoming mid week hunt test and the Holiday party! Bring a few defrosted birds if you have them! and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

With our HUGE Hunt test in September, immediately followed by the 2022 Master National in Roseburg Oregon, we have not had a training day in several months.  Lets get together on Saturday, October 29th, from 10-5 and play with the youngsters! We'll work on basic skills your dogs need to learn to advance in the Hunt Test game. Everyone will participate and learn how to work a winger and learn some skills you can practice on at home!

The only rule will be no training! We'll do a bumper toss for the owners....super singles for the dogs.....or other fun, possibly timed events that we can just hang out for the day and have a good time with our dogs! SPRING TRAINING DAY!

This class we'll host for new members with young dogs who want to learn the basics of whats involved in running an AKC Hunt Test. Bring your dog! Bring a leash and water for Fido as well as your lunch. We'll also give an introduction to the type of training equipment we use. Everyone takes a turn in the field, so we all work together.
